Elon trolls the world
Elon Musk’s $44 billion investment in Twitter (now X.com) seems to be paying off. It has opened channels of communication previously shut to people like Donald Trump and others on the right. It’s fair to say this had a profound impact on Donald Trump’s election in the US in November last year.
He is being rewarded for his activism by being invited into the new Trump administration to cut waste. Expect a constant stream of news on X.com on outrageous government boondoggles for the next four years.
Musk is not content to let it lie there. He’s set his sights on UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer who – truth be told – is a lamb waiting to be pushed off a cliff. His recent Budget was an outrage, cutting heating subsidies for the elderly while pumping billions on weaponry to Ukraine and the Middle East.

He's also a big fan of Argentine president Javier Milei who has taken a meat cleaver to a bureaucracy bloated with woke functionaries delivering nothing of value to the country.
Then there’s this message in favour of Nayib Bukele, president of El Salvador.

Elon also penned an article supporting the Alternative for Germany (AfD) which set the establishment press on fire. It’s likely that AfD will become the majority party in Germany in the next election, and with Elon’s help, that possibility has edged closer.
AfD is described by Wikipedia as “far-right and right-wing populist” – they got two mentions of “right” in the same sentence just in case you didn’t get it the first time.
So Elon called for people to stop funding Wikipedia.
All this has delighted those who feel they have been spoon-fed garbage by the information gatekeepers at Wikipedia, CNN, The Guardian and elsewhere.
There’s probably no country in the world safe from Elon’s acid tongue. He seems relentless and will not stop. The woke are on the run and with Elon in the White House, we could see massive political changes sweeping the world.
Is this dangerous? Possibly. But no more dangerous than editors of establishment papers throwing their weight behind their preferred candidates at election time. Only Elon’s reach is massive enough to actually overturn governments.
