80eight has applied to the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA) for a Virtual Asset Service Provider licence covering Broker-Dealer Services. VARA has issued an Initial Approval Confirmation. That is a stage in an application and not a licence: it does not authorise 80eight to carry on the activity applied for, and the paragraph above stands until VARA says otherwise on its own register.
